L'rena

L’rena, Daughter of Beltor, member of House Zor’Vek is the Captain of the IKS Y’tem. A capable commander and warrior in the service of her house, she has recently been given command of one of the House’s most storied warships. The ageing vessel is a veteran of the Dominion wars and recently brought back into service to support the KDF.

She was assigned to assist Starfleet’s 4th Fleet, specifically TF17, in 2402. Supporting the Empire and Starfleet’s exploratory mission in the Shakleton Expanse.

L’rena is a commander defined not by volume or aggression but by control. She is a leader who understands that honour is not only measured in conquest or bloodshed, but in restraint. This makes her a formidable Klingon warrior; her authority is absolute because she does not need to dominate a room to command it.

She reveres her Klingon heritage, yet she is willing to reinterpret the teachings when a situation demands it. She sees her Klingon customs as living disciplines rather than commandments.

She always thinks strategically, the long term goals outweigh that of short term victories. Something which her peers don’t always understand. To her, the honour gained through patience is just as important as honour won in battle. Her greatest strength is knowing when not to draw a blade.
