The youngest soul aboard the T’Ong. Born into bondage on a Syndicate freighter, he has spent most of his life scrubbing plasma conduits and fetching tools for smugglers who deal in flesh as easily as narcotics and weapons. When K’trok and the IKS Y’tem raided the smuggler’s base on Gault’s outer moon, the boy was among those freed from the slave pens. Where others fled, Relar remained standing proudly, offering his service to those who had slain his tormentors.

K’tok saw the flame in his eyes, not fear. He took the youth aboard as a servant, a position that was equal parts stewardship and tutelege.
