Personality

Zoral was raised in a ‘Starfleet Family’ with most of those he was related to serving on some point in their lives. His family was deeply affected by the loss of so many Starfleet personnel at the Battle of Wolf 359 and during the Dominion wars. Many of his relatives lost their lives. Growing up with these stories he initially opted for a tactical route into Starfleet, though, this later changed to the command division while at the Academy. He has a strong sense of duty and is a determined and capable officer. Though, clearly at the beginning of his career and is yet to be tested in more difficult circumstances.
He maintains a very close bond with his younger sister, Tessa, who remains on Bolarus IX. He maintains regular contact with her whether he likes it or not. She hopes to one day join starfleet so much of their contact is discussing his ‘adventures’.
He developed a strong close friendship with another cadet at the Academy, a Tellarite named Brunak. They were posted to the USS San Clemente together and now both serve together, though in different departments.

History

Starfleet Academy (2397-2401)

He joined starfleet and attended Starfleet Academy on Earth initially with a focus on tactical analysis and Starship combat systems. However, during his final year, he transferred to the Command Division with the mindset of becoming a pilot. A struggle to begin with, but during the transition, he was found to have a natural ability within the field.

USS San Clemente (2402-Present)

He became an effective combat pilot at the academy and was awarded a position in the command division on board the USS San Clemente following graduation. As a junior officer on board the Mente he is finding his feet as part of its crew.
