Summary
The acting Chief Science Officer aboard the USS Oroville, although he doesn’t expect to be relieved. Not much science is currently done aboard the ship, though he wants that to change. He was assigned to this ship as a functional demerit; to be put on a relative backwater until he chooses to retire. He has different plans.
