Kally

As a newly-graduated officer on her first assignment, Ensign Kallavasu is primed to be underestimated by those around her. This is only exacerbated by her being an Ithenite, a species considerably shorter than humans, and her bubbly and enthusiastic attitude, which both contribute to her being read as childlike. But Kallavasu – or ‘Kally’ as she goes by, even professionally – is still a qualified communications officer, a highly talented linguist, and a scientist deeply committed to understanding other cultures and peoples with warmth and open curiosity. She brings this same interest and affection for people to her life aboard Endeavour, making her easily liked among all but the most cynical of officers.
