Summary
Lieutenant Laura Bell Jackson, Ph.D, is a Starfleet line officer and currently serves as the chief science officer of the USS Paramount. She is a highly accomplished scientist who holds doctorates in astrophysics, particle physics, and temporal mechanics; she is also pursuing a doctorate in xenoanthropology. But that is not the limit of her knowledge, it also includes xenolinguistics, xenobotany, and stellar cartography. These achievements are a testament to Laura’s drive, and she isn’t one to crumble under the limelight, and she’s even stated that it’s helped her more than hampered.

While on duty, Jackson can be seen wearing the standard sciences blue uniform. Although she often dons a lab coat when she’s in the lab or a field jacket when she joins away missions. While off duty, she is usually dressed business casual.
