“Blessed are hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken.” –Albert Camus
After the grandeur and excitement of the diplomatic rendezvous has finished, the champagne glasses have been cleaned and everyone has put away their tail coats, that’s when the hard work starts. Making good on what was promised at the negotiating table is Hart’s speciality, and the ship’s mission objectives can include anything from construction & supply to hosting guest science deployments and even the odd lost cat. Making good on the ambassador’s agreement is their purpose, and it’s one the crew take on with gusto. With representatives from the Starfleet Auxiliary and the Federation Diplomatic Corps aboard, there is little that Hart cannot lay its hands on to fulfil the promises that have been made.
The crew of USS Hart know one thing is for certain: the devil is always in the details.

The smell of blood tainted the air. A thick metallic odour that eeked out from the stone walls and into the nostrils with invasive, sickening tendrils. Dynem snorted slightly as he ruffled the end of his snout in distaste. “Are you okay?” Dasranika whispered. “Can’t you smell it? The tang [...]

“I’m still surprised they let us down here.” Dane tapped a nearby rock with the tip of his boot, sending it scurrying down a small dip to join its equally uninteresting brethren clustered in the shadowy corner of the rocky corridor. “Doubly so that we didn’t get an escort.” “I think [...]

Would you speak of love to me? I, who held love within the crook of my elbow. I, who laughed and cooed as love smiled back. I, who wept such floods when love closed her eyes; That stone became mud, That the stars feared they would drown, On that day the father became only a man. You dare to speak [...]
