IKS Mok’tal (IKS-139)

IKS Mok’tal

B’rel-class • IKS-139 • Task Force 47 • Managed by CDR Song So-Mi

An old vessel with a long history as a Federation ally, the Mok’tal is a polarizing vessel- though she served in the Dominion War with honor, her crew’s refusal to partake in the 2372 war with the Federation is seen as both a mark of honor and a mar on an otherwise sterling service record. Having added aid after the Nightfall to her resume, there is one constant with the Mok’tal– wherever the Federation or Romulan Republic needs Klingon warriors, they will find her.

Part 18

The Peace We Keep

IKS Mok’tal, USS Al-Batani, USS Cardenas, USS Hypatia and USS Wasp

There was something in Song that was glad they were meeting in person- something in her that found Wasp‘s bridge too quiet, like a foxhole after the artillery has ceased fire. That horrible, anxious silence, waiting for another shoe to drop, waiting for another misfortune to fall. The [...]

Part 17

The Peace We Keep

IKS Mok’tal, USS Al-Batani, USS Cardenas, USS Hypatia and USS Wasp

Following their Captain, a woman used to hot, humid conditions from her time on Bajor, Hypatia’s away team struggled through the sand dunes of Nihor Prime, the corse material weighing heavy on their Starfleet issued boots; almost as heavy as the concern they felt in the presence of the strange [...]
