“Never regret thy fall, O Icarus of the fearless flight. For the greatest tragedy of them all is never to feel the burning light.” – Oscar Wilde
One of the first production runs of the Rhode Island class, Daedalus was one of the late Nova space frames converted for use in the new Rhode Island class. For nearly 2 decades Daedalus has been the quick stitch for the Federation, acting as a first responder to crises and incidents, collecting information and preparing the way for the might of Starfleet. When the situation demands Daedalus is quite capable of acting independently, defending herself and others from danger.
