USS Daedalus

Rhode Island-class • NCC-72703 • Britannia Wayfinding Division • Task Force 47 • Managed by CAPT Varen Wyll

“Never regret thy fall, O Icarus of the fearless flight. For the greatest tragedy of them all is never to feel the burning light.”Oscar Wilde

One of the first production runs of the Rhode Island class, Daedalus was one of the late Nova space frames converted for use in the new Rhode Island class. For nearly 2 decades Daedalus has been the quick stitch for the Federation, acting as a first responder to crises and incidents, collecting information and preparing the way for the might of Starfleet. When the situation demands Daedalus is quite capable of acting independently, defending herself and others from danger.

Oscuri could feel her stomach protest with acidic venom as Daedalus banked into another tight turn, the angle of which was seemingly enough to push the inertial dampers to their limits. Even here, strapped tightly into her flight chair aboard the waverider shuttle Icarus, she could feel the jealous [...]

The Devil's Coat Tails

USS Daedalus

“It’s nothing,” Mellasitox hissed at the young medic who knelt before her. His round face was covered with dark soot and no small amount of blood, dripping down from a patchy red handprint dragged across his forehead from the back of his hand. “Go attend to someone else.” “Captain, [...]

Lesson Number One (pt.5)

The Devil's Coat Tails

USS Daedalus

“Consider your options, little kitten,” the old crone, Whisper, purred from atop the rocky outcropping she had claimed as a basking stone in the fading sunlight. “There are always options.” Encore’s tail twitched as one of the slobbering targs gnashed its slick teeth, causing thick [...]
