Deep Space 2 is unexpectedly cut off from warp travel and subspace communications as a massive Vaadwaur fleet emerges from Underspace, threatening the station and its thousands of civilians. Fleet Admiral Ramar, alongside Rear Admiral Viran, Admiral Tolak, and Ambassador S’Rath, must coordinate the station’s defenses, rally allied ships, and repel both orbital bombardment and boarding assaults. Reinforcements arrive just in time from the Romulan Republic, turning the tide and forcing the Vaadwaur to retreat, though the origins of their resurgence and their mysterious benefactors remain unknown.
