Task Force 17 - Casperia Sunset

Task Force 17 is meeting up for Shore Leave

Mission Description

Let me begin by stating the obvious: we could all use a break. Between subspace tunnels, incursions, and the endless joy of administrative reports, I suspect most of you haven’t seen a beach – or a decent drink – in months. Or years, in some particularly tragic cases.

So here’s the deal: you’re going on vacation.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: that sounds like a trap. And you’re right. It is. The trap is called fun, and you’re going to walk right into it.

Officially, this is a networking opportunity. Unofficially, it’s a chance to spend time with your fellow TF17 COs without someone shouting “red alert” every five minutes.

The itinerary is attached. Yes, this counts as an official assignment. No, you may not “delegate” it to your XO.

Captain Cressida Brennan
Task Force Commanding Officer

Saffiya Nassar had tried to get out of coming here. First, she had tried to argue that her pregnancy would make it an unreasonably arduous journey. Then, she had tried to get Valdes to go in her stead. But when Saffiya had suggested it to her, Valdes had looked about as terrified at the idea as [...]

Waters of Renewal

Caireann Station: Task Force 17 - Casperia Sunset

The mineral pools of Kythis Springs shimmered under the morning sun like liquid opals, casting soft rainbow hues across the ancient stone walkways. Dr. Lilly Hansen sat at the edge of one of the upper terraces, legs dangling in warm, healing water, a cup of jasmine-ginger tea cooling at her [...]

Saltwater Diplomacy

Caireann Station: Task Force 17 - Casperia Sunset

Lieutenant Elara Roslin didn’t expect to be working on leave—but she couldn’t help herself. Casperia’s southern coastline was home to a cluster of independent fishing villages, culturally rich but politically strained. Tensions between native Casperians and newer Federation migrants had [...]
