Taking advantage of recent galactic events, some of the more proactive elements of the Breen Confederacy have been making trouble within the Thomar Expanse, intent on forcing claims and kowtow minor powers while the powers of the Federation and Cardassian Union are distracted with their own problems.

But Starfleet isn’t completely bereft of options, dispatching the mighty starship Canopus into the Expanse, hoping for a show of resiliency to halt the Confederacy.
