Mira was looking over to minister T’Kra when the news came in that five Romulan warbirds came in at the last second to save the day. “Minister, I think it’s vital that we get these replicators integrated and then we discuss if there’s anything else you request or require from the Federation.” Mira said with a big humble smile on her face.
“Agreed commander, but knowing that the Tal Shair are lurking in our little neck of the woods maybe your subspace array wouldn’t be a bad thing to point in this direction once in awhile.” The minister started to say openly and out loud.
Mira was not sure what to say to that, because they’re not there to spy on the Romulan people. The array is supposed to help explore the star cluster nearby. But she knew she needed to say something. “I’ll make sure my captain brings it up with the commodore, she’s the Admiral for this area of space for the Federation.
“Please make sure you do, at first I was a little skeptical. But seeing how they want to take our industrial replicators makes me gravely concerned for our safety.” Minister T’Kra pointed out to her.
“May I suggest that you probably talk to the Romulan free movement and the Romulan Star Government and try to see if he can work out some kind of deal.” Mira suggested to him, she had a feeling he was not going to take the offer, but she waited to see what he would say.
The minister simply nodded as he went over to Mira. With a soft voice he said. Off the record, and between us. I am deeply concerned about the Tal Shair being in the area. I have no idea, what they are doing in this area.
“Neither do I, Minister.” Mira simply said, with a calm look on her face. She was trying to figure out why the Tal Shair would take interest in the far reaches of the space for both the Romulan’s and the Federation.
In the Meantime, Lira was directing the Paso Robles transporter chief, on where she wanted the industrial grade replicators to be placed at. =A=“Chief lock onto my coordinates, once you do transport the replicator to my location after a ten second delay to allow me time to move out of the away.”=A= Lira advised the transporter chief for the USS Paso Robles.
=A=”Affirmative, Ma’am.”=A= The transporter chief simply said in response.
Lira looked over to Minister T’Kra and Mira, they were still having a side bar conversation. She looked to Zara. “I bet you can’t wait for this mission to be over.” Lira said with a warm smile.
Zara smiled, wondering how Lira knew. She was not on the bridge. “I might be.” Zara said bring a little coy with her response.
“I think you and Teral Kroll will make a cute couple.” Lira said, thinking what she had over heard was a plan to go on a date.
“Thank you, but you already said that to me before.” Zara suggested to Lira. She was confused by her response. Then it dawned on her, that Lira was not filled in. She debated about telling her. It’s not like it would remain a secret for long.
She watched as Lira told the transporter chief the next location to drop off the replicator. “It’s not a date, I am getting a symboint today.” Zara said, as she waited for Lira to process what she had said.
“What?” Lira said a little shocked at first, then she walked over to give Zara a big hug. “That is wonderful news, Zara. Simply wonderful.”
Zara returned her hug. “Thanks, it means a lot that you are very supportive of this. Especially since its very last minute.” Zara pointed out to her.
The two continued to talk for a bit, as the scene refocuses on Minister T’Kra and Mira.
“Looks they have a handle on things. I want you to know Minister, did you ever need anything give Overwatch Station a call they will send us out here again.” Mira explained to him.
“I appreciate that, I really do Commander.” Minister T’Kra said with a warm smile on his face.
“If I can make a suggestion. Get you’re Romulan brothers in the free movement government to install some sensors, so you have advanced warning.” Mira suggested to him.
“Now that’s a great idea, Commander.” He thought to himself, why didn’t he thinks of that.
Several minutes passed and all ten replicators were now installed and beamed into place. “It’s barely going to be edible, but you’re people won’t starve.” Mira suggested to Minister T’Kra.
“Ah yes the replicators, they’re not really that delicious they’re just suitable to me or nutritional requirements.” Minister T’Kra trying to say with a teasing tone, but feeling like it didn’t come out the way he wanted it to.
After some time had passed everybody was just wrapping up what they were doing down on the planet below, it was now time for the goodbyes.
“On behalf of my people I’m very grateful for the Federation, you didn’t try to trick us or try to manipulate us. And for that you have our thanks.” Minister T’Kra said to Mira as it reached out to shake her hand.
“Thank you Minister, we were just doing the best we could. I’m sorry we couldn’t get these replicators to you sooner. I hope the Tal Shair ear does not come back if they do we’ll try to help you as best as we can.” Mira said with a humbling tone.
Mira looked over to Zara and Lira and the three of them prepared to beam back to the Paso Robles. “Until next time minister.”
“Until our paths cross again.” Minister T’Kra said, as he watched Mira and her team being back to the Paso Robles. The three ladies beamed back over to the ship. The scene fades away.
