Location: Overwatch Station, Shuttle Bay

Sotti Sh’thothrath and Katie Woodward, watch as the two runabouts leave the shuttle bay area of the station. Katie wished she was going with the two runabouts. The chance to explore the moon below them, would have been a great opportunity. She knew she had responsibilities on the station.

Sotti could see that it was bothering her a little bit. “The price we pay, in order to advance in rank.” Sotti suggested to Katie. She knew how it felt, a part of Sotti wished she was also going on the mission. But like Katie, she had responsibilities to the station as well.

“I suppose your right.” Katie said, as she watched both runabouts leave the protective field and head into space.

“Come on, Lieutenant. I’ll get you a drink.” Sotti said, trying to distract her.

Deep down, she wondered what type of conversations they were having in the two runabouts. She smiled, as she thought about the possibilities. No doubt they were excited and preparing for the mission.

Location: USS Mare Cognitum, Aft Cabin

The two runabouts were divided up by field focus. The first runabout was made up with the team that would be working in the field mostly. And getting samples from the ocean. That group was aboard the USS Mare Cognitum while the other group focused on the over all applications to all the data the first group would be giving them. They were aboard the USS Oceanus Procellarum.

“Is everyone ready to go?” Keith asked as he looked over to Dale, Ray and Rena.

“Affirmative.” Dale spoke up from his seat. More than ready, truth be known.

“I am all set.” Rena said with excitement. She couldn’t wait to see what they would find.”

“Let’s do this.” Ray grinned. And then thought about his words. “I am ready as well.”

“Alright, who wants to pilot us down the moon?” Keith asked, as he was looking for a volunteer, so he did not have to tell someone to do it.

”I will do it.” Dale volunteered as he moved to take over the controls. “Fasten your seatbelts, Ladies and Gentlemen.” He said with a grin.

“Oh boy.” Keith said, pretending he was concerned. But in reality he was not concerned at all.

Location: USS Oceanus Procellarum

Meanwhile on the Oceanus Procellarum, there group commander April Montgomery was preparing her crew for the mission. “I think we are going to have a fun week. ” Timothy said, trying to break the silence in the room.

“No doubt Cartman in my mind.” Sarah said with a big warm smile on her face. She was eager to get down to the planet below.

Monica was peaked her head into the cockpit. “I’m all set up in the aft cabin.

anyone else claiming a work station back here?” She asked, curious who was going to work with her.

“I will be working back there with you as well. I believe the mission commander and Cartmen will be working in the office area.” Monica suggested.

“That’s correct, I will be in the office area.” Timothy said, noticing that April was being silent.

“Yes.” April spoke up. “The plan is for you two to work together back there and we will be in the office area.” She wanted them to get familiar with each other.

“I won’t let you down, Montgomery.” Timothy said, with a warm smile on his face.

“Let me hear from you when you are ready to head out.” April said. She wanted to get going.

Location: Overwatch Station, Mess Hall

Meanwhile on the station Sotti and Katie walked into the mess hall. They saw Elsbeth at the replicator. It looked like she had the same idea as well. “Fancy meeting you l bc lump, Lieutenant O’Reilly.” Sotti said with a big playful smile on her face.

Elsbeth smiled. “I am starving!” She admitted with no shame. “It has been said I get irritable when I forget to eat.”

“I can’t stay for breakfast, I have a meeting Commodore Coleman up in the command center.” Sotti said, wishing she could have stayed, but duty calls.

“That’s too bad.” Elsbeth said and she meant it. She wanted to spend time getting to know everyone.”
