Lieutenant Capp replied as he put in the starfleet frequency 1586 and heard the disress call from both ships “Mr. Nige set a course to the culver city’s location ” Lee said. the Santa monica arrived at the last known location Lee called for chloe to open a channel “this is the U.S.S. Santa Monica U.S.S. Culver City please respond ” Lee repeated the message over again.

On the bridge of the Culver City, LCDR K’lev, having returned to the ship from the Soval, was reading over the text of the agreement that would govern Starfleet operations in the system going forward when Lieutenant (jg) Tiza at Ops reacted to something on his console.  “Sir, we’re being hailed; looks like the Santa Monica.”

K’lev nodded, pulling his attention from the text.  “Put it up on audio, please,” he replied.

Tiza tapped a control on his console, and Lee’s voice came over the speakers.  “Santa Monica, this is Culver City, Captain K’lev speaking.  What can I do for you?”

The SM’s CO then explained the situation and their orders.

K’lev nodded as Lee spoke.  “Very good, Captain.  We’ll make sure Blythe’s old crew is aware, so they can start to transfer aboard.  They do have a runabout, by the way, the Irrawaddy; depending on if she’ll fit in April’s bay, you may need to carry her home with you, since we’re already carrying some of Blythe’s other old shuttles.  We’ve got a research team on the surface, exploring a ruin site, so we won’t be leaving orbit just yet, but if you need a hand raising Blythe we can lend a tractor beam or two to the effort.”

As the SM approached Derganix, the crews began preparing to raise the Blythe to orbit. The 2, soon to be 3, crew began coming up with a planet to raise the Blythe from the dead.
