“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is
always to try just one more time.” ~Thomas A. Edison
Commissioned in 2399, the USS Edison is a cutting-edge starship, equipped with the latest in Starfleet technology and design. Initially meant for a variety of exploratory and defensive missions, the Edison gained new significance in 2400 when it was reassigned to the Eos Station Division. Now, it plays a crucial role in keeping the Alpha Doradus system stable and secure.
Being close to Freecloud, the Division faces unique challenges. It’s right at the heart of Starfleet’s efforts to stop the flow of contraband, monitor rogue traders, and prevent unauthorized incursions that could further destabilize the region. The USS Edison is on the front lines, regularly patrolling key trade routes to maintain order and swiftly address any threats. However, their job is about more than just maintaining peace; it’s about preventing chaos in a sector struggling with fractured Romulan factions.
Facing these challenges head-on, the Edison embodies Thomas Edison’s spirit of determination, always ready to try just one more time to ensure the safety and security of the Alpha Doradus system.

They moved silently until they reached a large storage bay, nearly empty except for scattered crates and obsolete terminals. Ambrose looked [...]
