It had started out as an audacious and seemingly impossible task; steal a fully functional Starfleet vessel.  But never being one for subtlety, that’s exactly what an Orion by the name of Navaar Orci, had done.  With the help of a disillusioned and partly brainwashed Chief Engineer Thomas Bellbrooke and the disgraced former Commander William Armitage; she’d taken a Norway-class from right under everyone’s nose.

For close to 18 months the USS Stavanger had move unmolested across the Alpha and Beta Quadrants; monitoring shipping routes and selecting targets for pirate vessels that accompanied her, to attack.  The ship went through several name changes, its transponder codes altered to mimic any other ship in her class; rendering it near impossible to track.

The arrival of the ‘Lost Fleet’ changed all that; when its disappearance was discovered.  Now the hunt was on.  With a new set of codes in operation, the Stavanger no longer had the ability to blend in and go unnoticed.

After fighting her way out of the Hydra Cascade; Orci plans to sell the ship off to the highest bidder, before the net finally closes in.

Commander Anacostia-Bolling and the crew of the USS da Vinci, have other ideas.
